Default Peanut Problem

Today I might have made a big mistake in purchasing something I purchased some roasted peanuts/monkey nuts(whole in shell with no salt). However,I'm not entirely sure if I absolutely can't feed them or should just find another use for them.I intended to use them as a gerbil treat as I should be getting gerbils fairly soon, but I would rather not use something that is unsafe

My hams love them, they're quite safe & lower in fat than unroasted ones.

There are lots of very healthy treats which are much safer than the majority of pet shop treats However, not all pet shop treats are necessarily unsafe but that does depend on species.

There are some natural options even at pet stores, for example millet sprays though you need to make sure they're all natural ones with no added ingredients. You could even make a DIY seed, nut, and mealworm treat mix if you wanted, using things like plain pumpkin seeds and dried mealworms along with other hamster safe ingredients.
