Re: My mini zoo!
I was trying that to get him to be still for a moment so I could get a semi-decent pic :P

Re: My mini zoo!
Or if you get a rack you could probably even fit a few mouse cages rather than just one!

Re: My mini zoo!
I'm really not sure which side of the fence I'm on when it comes to keeping males alone tbh & I wouldn't be confident keeping a group as if anyone did fall out I'd have absolutely nowhere to put them!
Racks aren't for me I'm afraid, I know stacking cages works well for a lot of people but I like to have all my animals in their own individual space, a bit cramped maybe (well my space is lol!) but it's still their space.

Re: My mini zoo!
I had to keep my boy Drake alone, as he was the only boy baby. When I rescued my other three boys from the SSPCA I put them in together. Immediately had to separate Jax as he was just so hyper and stressing the other two boys out. Mac and Cheese got along so well for a while, but as they started to get older they would fight. It became more frequent and they both seemed a bit stressed. I wasn't waiting til blood was shed, so I separated them. The boys are happy on their own. If you wanted a friend, you could always go down the female multimammate route. Girls tend to get along most of the time.
