Thanks guys! I'm so pleased with how Alfie is looking right now - in two more weeks, it'll be a year since the cataract surgery and then all the troubles that followed with the pancreatitis; the corneal ulcer, the eye removal etc. It was very difficult and in the midst of the pancreatitis attack, my vet told me to prepare for the worst. So to see the little guy now, a year older, one less eye but able to see!, and looking & feeling as good as he does now, is jjust wonderful.
Cypher this is one of our favourite walks, it's in Wormingford. Normally you can walk right to the top of a big hill and get great views, but there were cows in that field who didn't look too thrilled at the sight of us, so we took another route!
Today Alfie is coming to visit my nan and also Pets Corner - both of these places invariably mean lots of fuss and some treats, so he will be a happy boy!

I can hardly believe that was a year ago barley, it's been quite a year for you both but what a great outcome in the end, it really is so lovely to see Alfie doing so well & full of the joys of life
I don't blame you for avoiding the cows lol! I never really minded cows on my walks in the UK so much but somehow Welsh cows always manage to look quite menacing so I do the same!
