Re: The Alfie Thread
I've been lax with the pics again. All fine, just busy with work and boring stuff like that!
We've had lots of early morning walks to beat the heat (UK hot, so hardly tropical, but hot enough for us!)
Done some rolling in the grass to get lovely bright green grass stains on my white coat to give Mum some grooming to do!
Done some licky-nose posing especially for Thin Lizzy
Played my favourite walkies game of ''find the treat hidden in the tree bark''
Done some sunbathing in my ''nans'' garden and nicked her sun lounger!
Been to Pets At Home which is my most fave place ever!
And had lots of boooooringggggg days at work with Mum. But hey ho, she needs to fund my spoilt little lifestyle, so I'll let her off. And I don't mind being an office dog really, visitors often bring me biscuits!

Aww The life of Alfie always entertains me and I go all giddy at his wonderful pics. Thank You for the gorgeous lick nose pic, I
so love them. Rolling in the grass, sunbathing and shopping deserves a well earned treat.

Re: The Alfie Thread
How is everyone? Have you melted? It's been unbearably hot for me - I think I was a penguin in a previous life. I hate it! Wish I could hibernate all summer and wake up when it's frosty!
I took the boy camping this weekend. It was so hot in the tent but we managed to get a shady pitch so it wasn't too bad.
We spent the day at the beach on Saturday and Alfie thoroughly enjoyed getting very sandy and muddy and icky... there was a lovely breeze and the sand was very wet and cool so it was actually really pleasant down there! We went to a place called Mersea Island which is famous for ''mersea mud'' - when the tide is out, the beach is mostly thick clay-like mud. Wasn't the best choice for a white dog, but he dried up and it brushed out!
[IMG] [/IMG]
At the campsite, he watched some boys play football for a while but then had to be moved round the other side of the tent as he would growl when they got rowdy... I call him the fun police lol!!
So he done some sunbathing instead!
Before he got too hot and went back to the shade!
Cooling off with a nice slice of watermelon!
Keeping nicely hydrated! (Alfie is a hooligan... he won't drink plain water and he has to be encouraged to drink plenty as he has kidney disease, so he usually gets diluted milk instead!)
He wasted no time in claiming a spot in the tent... on my bed, of course.
Back to work this morning and it's fair to say WE ARE MELTING! Urgh. My office is in a wooden log cabin type building, so it's roasting. Fans on full speed, doors open and Alfie is sprawled out on the concrete step outside the office in the cool.

Re: The Alfie Thread
What a way to spend the weekend, camping. Aww at Alfie and his muddy paws, sunbathing, in the shade, snacking on watermelon and asleep on your tent bed. I so love reading about your adventures. Pure Bliss!
