When Alfie was really ill last summer I told him he had to keep fighting and not give up because we still had so many fun things we had to do together. I promised him I'd take him somewhere nice when he got better (coz I'm that kind of silly dog owner lol!).. and for various reasons, we've only just got round to doing it. I had yesterday off work, we went to the seaside for a whole day-long walk, stayed in a B&B and then had another walk this morning before coming home. I think we both enjoyed it as much as each other!

Looks like a very special couple of days for you both barley, lovely photos, it's always a joy to see Alfie out & about enjoying life but I have to say it's the photos of your sweet boy sleeping that always melt my heart!

He's at his cutest when sleeping as he's not causing mischief then!

Well unless of course he's attempted to use all six kilos of him to take up the vast majority of a double bed, paws outstretched and tail extended for maximum effect, which is his usual trick at home

Aw bless! Little man likes lots of space & who can blame him

I used to share my bed with a greyhound who liked to stretch like that, I think he wanted me to sleep on the floor!

That's so adorable the both of you going to the beach and staying in a B&B, Alfie's one lucky dog to have you as his owner, the both of you have such a special bond.
Superb pics and seeing Alfie look so happy makes my heart melt. I especially love the pics of him sprawled out on the bed.
