Re: The Alfie Thread
Aww Alfie, I've missed you so much. I got so giddy with these pics, as always you never fail to make me smile and melt my heart.
Sorry Alfie had a horrible 2 weeks with the fireworks, they were so loud screeching, whistling and banging here, I jumped a few times with fright.
I can't believe your wonderful boy is almost 14, he has so much energy and I love his adventures, leaping, running and looking so very cute sleeping. Pure bliss!

Re: The Alfie Thread
Oh no barley. I am so very sorry at this news. I loved hearing about Alfie and did wonder how things were with him, knowing the health battles he had fought in recent times.
His photos from your wonderful walks together were a joy in themselves. He was a dog that had a huge zest for life and it came across in the photos.
It was a while ago now so I guess you have got over the first shock. You must still miss Alfie though, he had been a huge part of your life for so long. So many happy memories though to comfort you and make you smile.
And a hug for you x

Re: The Alfie Thread
Thanks Coco, yes I miss him so much. All day every day. He was a huge part of my life for so long, we were together 24/7 so the loss is huge and still constantly felt. He was 14 years old and had bravely fought his kidney disease for fourteen months, so was an absolute little solider. I don’t think things will ever quite be the same without him, he was my world. Xx

Re: The Alfie Thread
I'm so sorry barley, I did wonder if this may be the case, you must miss your little man terribly, such an amazing little character & such a happy little guy in spite of all his problems.
He had a wonderful life with you & while it's so sad that he's gone he has left you with such special memories.
It was always such a pleasure to see his photos & hear about him, thank you for sharing his life with us, he'll be missed here too.
