The Alfie Thread

Unfortunately his kidneys won't ever get better, they're failing so it's a progressive condition. But honestly to look at him, you would never know anything was wrong. So we are continuing as we are He has a special diet and medication to help slow down the progression.

I didn't get any pics but we went to All About Dogs in Hylands Park yesterday with my friend and her dog, Alfie had a great time

He's always happy, energetic and acts like a puppy, the both of you have a beautiful bond. You're doing everything you can to ensure he continues to enjoy life by getting regular checks/ tests on his kidneys and that he sticks to a healthy diet.

You wouldn’t be saying awww if you had to share a bed with him it’s crazy how a dog so small can take up so much of a double bed!

That last pic is just so adorable, he looks so cute and innocent asleep in your bed, I bet his side is so warm once he gets up.

Hi everyone, I thought some Alfie pics were long overdue! He is still doing really well, hard to believe he'll be 14 this time in two months! He hates fireworks so didn't have a very happy two weeks with Bonfire Night just gone, but fine again now they're all over.

Long long overdue barley! I had become rather worried that all was not well. Instead Alfie is looking in tremendous form and as handsome as ever.
