What are some good pair names for guinea pigs?

So I'm looking into getting guinea pigs in May, i would have a 2 x 5 with a level of 1 x 2 DIY C&C cage, most likely they will be female, but who knows, i might get males!

So what are some good [I]pair[I] names? I kind of want a theme to go by, like my friend/sister's theme is Greek Goddesses, she has guinea pigs named Iris and Athena, she is naming her next hamster (a greek goddess name, i forgot). And honestly, its a cute idea. So does anyone have any ideas for a pair name or a group of possible names? I'm think elements of the periodic table, and for female guinea pigs possibly.... Potassium and Magnesium, or Potassium and something else but Potassium is an adorable (and unique, too) name. I will also be getting a pair of hamsters in a year or so, so suggest names for them, too!


Also, i'm new and wondering if the mods check all the posts before posted? I went to add a "hi i'm new" and it said mods were checking it.... ?

I've started naming all my hamsters after fictional characters (e.g. Rumple as in Rumpelstiltskin and Alice, as in Alice in wonderland). If you've got a favourite book or movie/series you could always get inspiration for names from the characters in them.

Potassium/Element names would be adorable and unique though! Or how about naming after artists ? Whether musicians or Van Gogh etc. ?

Well... my Bernie is named after the politician, Bernie Sanders XD Maybe a politician theme? haha

But you go could also go with similar sounding names... my guinea pig pair was Emma and Ella.

Other fun themes:
-Disney
-Countries
-Gems/jewels/precious stones

If you go with elements, Cobalt would be an awesome name for a boy ^.^
I also think Nickel and Copper would pair nicely together.

I, too, was thinking of Gems. I think Amethyst and Topaz would be cute together, and there is a wide scale of minerals/gems/jewels/etc.

Winston - Winston Mccall (singer of a band I used to like)
Myrcella - Character from Game of thrones (TV programme)
Abe - Character from the game Abe's oddysee.
Belle Aria - Belle from beauty and the beast, it also means beautiful. Arya means melody and the litter she came from was called the Melladdy's (mother and father's name combined) So her name means Beautiful Melody.
