Default Cut on Rat's tail

So, as some of you may know, I have two lovely male rattie boys at the moment. I just realized this morning that Oreo has a small cut on his tail. It isn't too deep or infected, but I'm wondering if there is any precautions I should take. I've checked the cage for anything sharp and found nothing. I'm guessing it was probably Zeus's (the other rat) claw that may have gotten caught on Oreo's tail in a scuffle.
Thanks!

Washing it out with warm salt water should help. The salt has to be non-iodized sea salt to be effective.

Honestly it should be fine if you just leave it. If you wash it out with anything, Oreo could start paying attention to the cut and that will be a problem as he'll irritate it.
If it seems fine for now, just keep an eye on it.

My girls always get into scuffles (I have 8 so its to be expected!) and one or two of them always come out with a few cuts and scrapes. I always leave it well alone and they are always fine!

Yeah, Zeus once caught his tail on the door of the cage and scraped some skin off, but it healed overnight. It was a couple weeks ago, so the hair on the spot has almost grown back completely. It's amazing!
