Freya looks very content in her box all snuggled up with her blanket bless her, poor girl has had a rough start but I'm sure she's going to be very happy now.

She is already growing in confidence! She happily runs round the cage like a crazy thing! She loves all the space and toys, much more fun than a tiny tank!

She has met Erin, Ebby, Robyn and Roo. I couldn't wait any longer! I got them all out together and Freya was so happy!!! She was following them all everywhere, bounding after them. They were all grooming eachother and it was so lovely just seeing her interact with other rats!

At the moment i have split their current cage in half. Freya is at the bottom and all the others are in the top half. I will probably end up putting robyn and roo in with Freya for a night and see how it goes. She met Elsie yesterday, one of my more dominant girls and it went well. She still hasn't met Faye yet which i'm wary about as she is very hormonal at the moment. Faye wouldn't let me touch her yesterday! She has times where she can be very moody. Yesterday was one of those days.

Update!

It may be a long one...

So we have lost Ebby sadly I found her sleeping peacefully in her bed one morning before going to work. It was a horrible day but atleast she is at peace now.

So we now have Elsie, Erin, Roo, Robyn, Freya and Faye. Faye is still a bit of a pain, not a people rattie, but loves other rats. Freya just will not grow, I swear she hasn't grown since we bought her home, she is just tiny! She still nips, but is super curious and just acts like a baby all the time! Very hyperactive and always getting into trouble!

Elsie now only has one eye. We found her one day with an ulcerated eye (I think two of them were wrestling and one caught her eye by accident) and she was taken straight to the vets. My poor girl has a permanently squinty eye and only has sight in one eye. She looks very odd bless her! She has been on medication and the vets are happy that she can keep her eye, she'll just look a bit strange from now on!

What else...

Oh yeah! We have two boys!
They are my partners (he's a converted rat owner now!) and he loves them to peices!
They are around a year old and both are incredibly friendly! He named them Thor and Loki.

Oh, I'm so sorry. Only owned one rat before, his name was Harry. I did a pretty banged-up job with him, much worse than the home you offered to Ebby.
It sounds like you loved him a lot. It's good she didn't feel too much pain.
