First thing to do is to ask the vet to check all his teeth. Tell the vet he`s had runny eyes too and hopefully the vet you see will be good and do a proper check. I wouldn`t put him outside right now at least until the weather turns milder in early spring. Keeping him happy and healthy right now after leaving a home who may have been aware he has issues could be vital until you see your vet. x

I have lots of questions to ask the vet when he goes in!
-Check teeth
-Weepy eye
-Check breathing and airways
-General healthcheck
-Vaccinations
-Neutering
-Cost estimate (not looking forward to this! I'm on minimum wage and once i've paid my dad rent, I get £80 a week for myself and my animals! Just started up a vet fund-putting a certain amount in every week to help me save my money)

Good idea it always helps to have some ready in case of emergencies! Lucky bun having a caring owner.

He has settled in so well, he now runs the top level of the house! He has free roam of my bedroom and the landing/hallway and is loving it! Whenever I am home I let him out for a run :') He's been out about 2 hours now and is lying down against my door al tired out from binkying!

One thing he's not keen on is me stroking him, he'll just hop off XD
Now he's coming over to me and is letting me pet him a tiny bit before running off. When he comes back over to me, he gets a treat-he is very food orientated and I think we are making progress!
