Re: Introducing the Buns
Thanks Kyrill and RC!
We went to meet a single doe yesterday, she's a month older than Alfie and bred by someone who shows rabbits. She's not rehomed her yet as she's very small and has been very careful as to who she rehomes her to as she doesn't want her bred from or anything. She's tiny compared to Alfie! I fell in love instantly, Alfie groomed her head and she seemed happy enough with him, just waiting for my partner to decide as she will be his bun.
Here's a pic of her, she will most likely be called Nala if we adopt her

Re: Introducing the Buns
Well, we met the doe and although it went very well we didn't end up getting her. I wasn't keen on the conditions of the hutches etc and my partner felt she wasn't quite right anyway.
Back to searching for Alfie's wifebun!

Re: Introducing the Buns
Firstly my condolences on Thor, what a sad thing to happen.
Alfie is absolutely gorgeous! So fluffy!
Fingers crossed you adopt Nala - another beautiful fluffy bunny.

Thank you.
We ended up not getting Nala. We're going to meet two 8 week old doe's on Monday though and may, if things go well, bring one of them home. So excited!

Re: Introducing the Buns
Sigh. Won't be going to see the two girls as the breeder has sold them to another breeder.

Re: Introducing the Buns
Thats a shame!
I would have thought that the breeder would have waited until you had visited them atleast before selling them to anyone else?
I hope you manage to find your bunny a companion soon! x

Re: Introducing the Buns
I have good news! We went to see some French Lops in Dereham (took us about and hour and a half to get there lol) and came home with a beautiful 8 week old doe who has turned out to be a complete loon, binkies all over the place and is oh so cheeky. I love her! She's so funny and very affectionate. My partner named her Freya, he chose the name from Norse mythology in memory of his boy Thor that passed away.
Here's some pics of our new girl!
