When I got him he was paired up with a netherland dwarf... maybe thats why he is the way he is?! hahaa

Honestly they are so so cute! My friend (his old owner) has her own nevvie and she's an albino but she is the cutest little thing! Has a wonderful temprament and a very calm nature They've had more in the past but this one they have now has the personality. Others that they have had (but they were rescues so its understandable) were very skittish, shy and showed fear related aggression when being handled.

Update!

I now have all 8 ratties all together in the same cage! They've been together a week now and we haven't had any problems! I'm so happy!! FINALLY it happened!

Definitely yes. Rats are amazing pets. I always say though that you need to save up for vet trips as they are very prone to tumors and respiratory problems. The rats you buy in pet shops are bred from lab rats that have been bred weak to be tested on but there's quite a few official rat breeders that try to breed stronger healthy rats. They are so intellect and loving though. People often refer to them as mini dogs. Once you have a group you get addicted
