Don't worry Wanna_Hamster, a shelled pea is actually one that has had the shell removed. It sounds backwards to me too

He is still kicking! I think he had swim bladder disease. He still swims a little crooked, and mostly just floats at the surface. He now lives in a more shallow, unfiltered bowl. He seems happier and healthier. We just make sure to do water changes to keep his environment as clean as possible. Thanks for asking!
