Show your other pets!
In the past I posted a thread called "Show me your hamsters" and I thought it would be interesting to redo that thread today but with other pets cause I know loads of people on here don't just have hamsters. So feel free to post pictures or talk about any of the other animals that you own/care for!
Oh and if your wondering if I have any other pets, I have a tropical fish called Stiggy

Re: Show your other pets!
I have owned many hamsters in the past including two Syrians called Garnet and Maggie, two Winter Whites called Monty and Theodore and one Russian called Annie (not including the masses of rescued or fostered hamsters we've looked after temporarily). However, now that all of my hammies have passed on to rainbow bridge, I have two pet rats called Gus and Roddy. Gus is agouti and Monty is mink. They're super sweet and absolutely love cuddles!
It might seem strange to some people to have pet rats, but really they're very loving and extremely intelligent, with intelligence similar to that of a dog. Even though I love my rats very much, I secretly want another hamster in the house (shh) in my 4 tier iMac fantasy cage! Love to see if any of you hamster experts have rats or any other pets too?

Re: Show your other pets!
These are pictures of Felix who was pts two years ago, he was 14 and had suspected bowel cancer. During the time we had him he was a wonderful cat, and often bought in live mice, birds and frogs for me to catch.

I miss him alot along with other cats, gerbils and hamsters I've kept, I wish I had a picture of the ginger tabby we used to have.

Re: Show your other pets!
He was called Racoon xD He wasn't ours to start with though he belonged to the ex wife of the guy who lived across the road from us, he hated cats so Racoon was always kept outside. I started to talk and pet him eventually he came in to the house, we would give him food, then all of a sudden there was a cat bowl in the kitchen and we were getting in cat food. Racoon just moved in and it just seemed very natural, eventually my mum wrote a letter to the guy's ex wife to ask if we could keep Racoon. She agreed we could keep him long as he was happy and in the same area, as that's why she left him there she didn't want to move him.
Racoon was my cat though he often sat on my lap, spent every night sleeping on the bottom of my bed, and always left me dead mice or demanded I watch him toy with his prey so he could show off. When I moved away from my parents I couldn't take him with me, I was told one day he had been found under his favourite bush close to his forever sleep. He was pts to end his suffering due to throat cancer.
Felix didn't live with us either to begin with he was a stray found by our neighbour, she couldn't look after him any longer since we lost Racoon she suggested we take in Felix.
