Default The new guineapigs updates thread :3

So, after me panicing about having 3 new guineapigs, they seem a bit better now

So! first up we have the little boy, who we named Albert, as we have renamed them as my uncle is having trouble remembering their names x
He looks young to me, hes a small thing, and weighs 650g, which is underweight x

Next, we have Gingernut the one we first thought was the only female.
shes adorable and scruffy
she weights 750g, also underweight for her size x She was being kept by my boyfriend, but we took her back yesterday

ANd then we have Shortbread who we originally thought was a boy! oops! But shes a chunka, but you can feel her bones, so i think maybe shes pregnant. Anyway, the vets will tell all. She has an adorable mane looking tuft :3 shes 950g

SO yes, i am keeping them all, and their all going to the vets next week

They are gorgeous. How long did your uncle have them as they still look very young. X

They look like Abyssinians to me. They're all gorgeous, especially Shortbread.

This makes me miss having my guinea pigs. My mum got me two from a pet shop and both ended up having 3 babies. I cried until my parents let me keep them all. I could never breed as I get too attached and wont let any pets go.
I loved them all so much, but will admit I had a favourite.

Well I don't have the first clue about guinea pigs but they all look lovely to me!
Good to hear they're a bit better & getting on OK after all their upheavals.

I thought the abyssinians were the long haired ones. I had two GP's, one was a long haired and the other was a tufted. I was told the long haired was an aby and the tufted was a peru. I must have been told wrong. Sorry.
