Now I just need the Gecko

I was going to get my first gecko in August, then I was going to get it on Friday, now it looks like it'll be this Thursday. Anyway, The tank is set to go.

That looks really nice DrK.

I remember mine with the terracotta moss hide for shedding his skin and his large hide. I put a smaller hide in and he stayed on the terracotta moss hide all night and he turned black from stress. lol. I had to put his large hide back in. He would not sleep in anything else. Have you joined a reptile forum. I am on one, but not been on it for many months (about 2 years or more. lol) but people make caves, waterfalls and stuff out of foam and grout and paint them. They look real good and natural.

Will you be getting water crystals. I had them for my gackoa nd dragons. It is better than a bowl of water and tehy still get the drink they need.

What gecko are you getting. I had a Leopard Gecko. I was told after I no longer had her that I did not need a heat lamp for basking as it was off at night and they are nocturnal. My one never came out in hte day much. Only if I disturbed her for a feed.
