Willow, I'm not sure all four in the same cage would be good. They can still have fall outs. Believe me, its happened over here, and it was not fun taking them to the vet to have them stitched up. I'm actually just about to I troduce my fourth guinea, I got him yesterday as a rescue from the petshop. I'll explain that all in the thread though

This happened a few years ago with hamsters and I said it would not happen again.

Oh well, We all prefer to look after resquees. I cant wait til tomorrow tea time. lol. I am looking forward to it.

I am already banking on going shops and bulk buying hay, food, toys etc.

If you got the two boys Tutored(as I call it LOL) then Pip could be with the boys with no danger of 101 Weekers in no time. I have two females here who share a 3 X 2 C&C with a flanner forest which is their hide away.

Hahaha!! I started off with 1 hamster, rapidly turned into 4, now im on my 4th guinea pig!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure multiple males with female(s) don't usually work out because they will bicker over the females, neutered or not. Single males work with female(s) better, I think.

I've heard if youre gonna get a female get 2 as boys fight over the girls??? (dont know how true that is), or yeah just one works with females.

I was gonna get a female but was advised against because of my boys.

Hi. If you put a female in with 2 males they will more than likely fight, neutered or not. Also be aware that if you have the 2 girls in a cage near the boys they may fall out if they can smell the girlies. If you are getting a friend for your girl, it's best to get a very young one as it can be hard to get them to bond. I have had a few that just did not like each other and had to separate. I now have 2 sets of trios all girls. Also 2 neutered buns 3 degus 1 new robo and a pug!

I found out that if I got another girl for Pip, the boys would fall out if they smelled two girls. If I got a castrated boar for Pip, the boys will also fight knowing there is another male in the house. I have a friend who wants Pip, but I dont know weather to let her have her. The friends daughter loves Pip and was dancing around the room while holding her.

And this is hodge. He hides all the time.

They are brothers and are 2 years old. One is a Peruvian and the other is an Abysinnian (one has tufts of hair, the other is a long haired)
They are not castrated. They rumble at each other but not fighting. Hodge is the dominant one, although he hides a lot.
