Default Indoor guinea pig cages

hey, i got 2 guinea pigs aged about 3 - 4 years old and have been living in this cage for all there life while ive had them

and im looking to upgrade to a better cage as this one is falling apart either 1 or 2 levels and cant be no wider than 100cm they aint in this cage much as they have lots of outdoor time and explore the house in the evening.
Thanks any suggestions or advice on cages would be much appreciated.

I don't know about UK options, but the best Guinea Pig cages in the US are the homemade-type ones. This is what I had: Guinea Pig Cages Store

I use an indoor rabbit cage. I have 1 guinea pig, so there's no need for extra space. But, she does have room to run around and stretch. The cage includes a water bottle, igloo (We got it for her when she was a baby Aweee), Hay Dispenser, white food dish, litterbox (With Planet Petco paper pellet litter), and a potty tray. We have newspaper on top of it and her #1 drips down. It's probably the easiest cage to clean i've every had. Literally takes 2 minutes. Replace the newspaper and Litter, Fill up water bottle and food, and rinse out the potty tray.
Super Easy! I bought it from my neighbor's rummage sale, so I don't know the brand, but the bottom (Potty Tray) is green, and its pretty big.

My 5 are in two 2 X 3 C & C cages for the girls with two pigs per cage, and my Male who doesn't like any others with him is in a Rabbit cage which is just 5 inches shorter then the top C & C cage. I love my C & C cages and they were really easy to build once I found a good source for the Coraplast sheets to make the floor pans.

Here's a picture of the girls cages while still being finished.

I use metal grids (that are used for shelving) and use zip ties to put them together. That way, I can choose the size, and design the cage however I want. I wouldn't suggest getting a pre-made cage, as they are too small. Although it is excellent that your pigs have run time, it would still be better if they had a larger cage to live in. If you look online for homemade guinea pig cages, you can see what I am talking about. They are super easy to make, and it's a lot cheaper than buying a cage from the store, so you are pretty much getting the best of both worlds.

Hope that helped!

That's what I did Artdy, using the guide from the C&C page. We had a 6ft 2 story cage. It was neat.
