Re: Ringworm! HELP!
Fun-guy...I like it. It helps to have a sense of humor when these things happen. Just remember, wash, wash, wash, before and after petting any of your furry crew until this clears up.

Re: Ringworm! HELP!
I had ringworm when I was younger, caught if from a stray litter of kittens we'd taken in. Kind of annoying, but it doesn't hurt, and goes away quickly with some medicated lotion.
Though if I were you, I'd definitely scrub my hands and arms hard before touching my hammy, just to be safe

Re: Ringworm! HELP!
We went the vets and they said they are stuck for decision, is it ringworm, or just an infected cut? Anyway as they couldn't figure it out they gave us immflametry and fungal and anti-bacterial cream all in one!
But poor thing has to wear a cone in her head

Re: Ringworm! HELP!
Oh my God! I didn't know they could even put a cone on a hammy! LOL. My dog has had one and I've seen cats with them at the vets. Do you think you could possibly take a picture of her with it? I love to see that. Poor baby, she's probably thinking humans are crazy! Hope the meds work, and soon.

Re: Ringworm! HELP!
LOL. A senior moment for sure. That's right, it's the DOG with the ringworm and you were worried about your hammy getting it. (See me smacking myself in the head?) Now I have this absurd picture in my head of a hammy in a cone! LOL

Oh haha, I get those moments!
But that would be a very odd, yet cute, image!
