My Other Pets!

Asides from the mousey gang & the hamster gang... i do have 3 other beautiful little ones.

This is Dixie, my male African Pygmy Hedgehog i took on from a friend, He's blind and he is 3 legged but he lives his life to the full. He's more a look but don't touch pet, (though APH's can be tame pets) he doesn't come out of his cage as he can't navigate himself around places that are unfamiliar to him and it would cause immense stress to let him out. He does enjoy being spoken to, and a couple of mealworms as a treat on occasion. He mostly keeps himself to himself, bless him.


These are my Gerbils, they were on facebook free to a good home so i decided to take them on not having owned Gerbils before. The owner basically dropped them off and that was it; no idea their age, and i had to sex them myself (they're boys) They lived in that small pets at home Gerbilarium and now they have a glass tank which they seem to like.

I've had gerbils all my life and if you take really good care of them they can live for about 4 years. I'm so glad you adopted them. They are beautiful. They are more active and curious than hamsters. They are also pretty good at escaping so watch out! Enjoy!
