Thanks for posting these photos as they made me smile today. I love gerbils (kept them a while ago) and love their activeness and playfulness. My first ever gerbil was black and called Max. Your little black boy seems to love collecting paper bedding!!! SO cute. x

Thank you so much everyone and racinghamster - I adore them so much. I cannot imagine life without a pair of gerbils gnawing in the background now!! Your advice was so helpful in the beginning too and I appreciate it so much. And YES - Mercury always has something in his mouth LOL. He makes me giggle all the time. And Lennon often reminds me of a gargoyle with the way he'll hunch over on a perch and stare hard at us. It's hard to explain but that is the best way to.

What lovely gerbils, and an amazing tank. Your pics are great too! We had loads of gerbils when I was younger and they make brilliant pets. Yours seem lovely
