Default My rabbits :)

Donny and Lola in their shed (I know someone who kept 2 Lola sized rabbits, Lola being the black and white one, in a cage that size 24/7..! The one they use as a litter tray. It's all commercial "rabbit cages" are good for tbh, glorified litter trays)

Poppy (She has food all of the time as she can't eat hay so needs the fibre, she has about 4 teeth!)

The most recent picture I have of Leo where he isn't moving

Cuuuuute!

Blimey what size is that commercial cage, assuming that is a 6x4 shed that makes the cage a ferplast 80? I have a Ferplast 140 (5ft x 2ft) as a base for my house bunnies and they cant even stand up in there despite it being the second largest on the UK market and a hard to get hold of cage! I bought it for 2 guinea pigs but then decided to use an old hutch indoors for them.

Yeah it's an 80 I love the bigger ones as bases, I want a 100cm one for Poppy (indoor) but my bf said no because she already has her box with litter tray in, only problem being the litter tray is cat size so she wees over the back haha! .. would mean I won't have to buy puppy pads to put under it! Might try and pursuade him haha I can't fit a storage box in there though so a cage would be perfect

They are gorgeous! 3 pigs and a bunny in that?! I do wonder what goes through people heads sometimes..

Donny is a dwarf lop and around 2.9kg, Lola is also a dwarf lop and was 1.4kg the last time she was weighed about 2 months ago. Both will be 2 in 2012

Poppy.. I think she is about 2kg maybe less, breed I have no idea My dad turned up with her when I was 15 as our first pet, brother and sister lost interest in the first week so I've been her best friend since then She will be 6 in May

Leo was the one we 'rescued' from my bf's neighbours who had him in a 4 x 1 x 1 hutch for 5 years, still has rubbish muscles We think german lop x, he's about 3kg He will be 7 in May, we gave him a 'birthday'

I would love to get Poppy and Leo a friend (tried bonding them but their needs were just too different and Poppy was being humped to death!) but while still living at home we can't can't complain too much as Leo has been allowed to take up residence in the spare room which is now his haha

Beautiful buns! I love the enclosure you have made for them. I agree that commercial rabbit cages are glorified litter boxes. I made my buns a cubes and chloroplast cage that the both lived in for years. Unfortunately they are both passed, I lost my male bun in October, he was 12 and a half.

I would love to have a rabbit! My mother had one, before I was born.
Once I move out i have plans to get myslef one,
One reason I cant get one here now is because, along with the sad idea of rabbits "stinking" (which they really arent) id let her roam the house like a cat *laughs*
Your rabbits are too cute though.
