Default Bird Hut & Tortoise Table

Here's our bitd hut that is home to a Zebra Finch, Bengalese Finch, Canary, Cinnimon Canary, two Java Sparrows and an Owl faced finch. Thankfully they don't make loud parrot type song.

This is Bowser my son's Horsfield tortoise. The birds, tortoise and hamster all love salad which makes it easy at feeding time.

Neat. Is that wood pellets in the tortoise table? How does Bowser find it?

The bird cage looks adorable!

Thanks. The substrate in the tortoise table is organic, breaks up if it gets wet and smells earthy. It's going to be mixed with topsoil at the weeked as Horsfields are great diggers, the substrate very deep, can't remember exactly but my son measured it along with the height of the heat light. He looks after him like a baby, Bowzer is about 2 and a half.

Thanks Our torts are on similar stuff, but i hate the smell.. we tried mixing in topsoil but every time we did, midges appeared so we've had to stick to pellets :/
