Default Re: Beware vaccine scam email

Glad it helped Luna. It took me a while to find it was a scam too. Apparently a lot of people got that one the same day. So it took time to be publicised as a scam.

Default Re: Beware vaccine scam email

To confirm what A Ice has said. In this house, the initial invite to vaccination came in a phone call from our local GP surgery and confirmed by text. One friend elsewhere had his invitation by text from GP. The genuine NHS letter also turned up here a day later.
Differences - the letter says to ignore it if you have heard from your GP surgery and have received the jab that way.
Also, if you use the letter to book via the methods set out, you must book both appointments at the same time.
If you are going via the local GP hub, then the information sheet you are given on leaving after the jab says to wait for contact for the second appointment in 3-12 weeks.
