3d Printed Hamster Toys?
I am new to owning a hamster and I was wondering if anyone knew if PLA 3d printer filament was safe for hamsters to chew on. I was planning on 3d printing some hamster toys for him. Thank You.

Hello and welcome to HC!
I'm not familiar with the hamster toys you've mentioned so can't comment on them but would recommend Whimzee dog chews. The xs or s toothbrushes are popular with hamsters.

Re: 3d Printed Hamster Toys?
well, it's a plastic, so it could be debatable, are you trying to make things for them to play with or chew on? I would be looking at how brittle is the plastic, easily chewable, what is the colouring in the plastic, is that toxic? If you did want to try it, I wouldn't be leaving them in the cage, but maybe for free roaming if it is things for them to climb over etc.

Re: 3d Printed Hamster Toys?
If you specifically want something they can chew on then I would say no, chewing plastic of any kind is best avoided.

I just want to clarify my previous comment -
If it is for chew toys - then no, chewing plastic is not a good thing
If it is to make a toy that they climb in and out of for example and you are worried they are going to chew on then see my previous comments.
