Ha ha - poor thing - do you call him xxxx face? That happens with the lambs as well if a sheep has triplets and a Ewe has lost a lamb. Three is too much for one Ewe to feed so they put one of them to the Ewe that lost the lamb. That happened last year.

Lambing is more or less finished now. Just 3 or 4 stragglers still to lamb. Apologies for not adding more photos but life got a bit hectic as it got busy and other things going on. The lambs have grown quite a bit in 2 or 3 weeks. OH took a picture of one with his Mother the other day and you can see how he has grown and filled out from being a new born leggy lamb. I will wind up this thread with this photo . The red mark on the lamb is to show whose flock he belongs to. The Ewe also has a red mark which can’t be seen. The green mark on the Ewe is from tupping time so it is known which ram fathered the lamb (and so who the lamb’s father is).

Wonderful to see these photos of animals and the natural world at a time when this is exactly what so many of us are longing to be allowed to experience again...thank you for posting! I hope all your lambs (and calves, Maker) grow up strong and happy and healthy!

Thank you Vierville. Although lambing has virtually finished I should have chance to take more photos soon so will post those as and when.
