Default Re: What is Good Sand for Sand Baths??

I personally use reptile sand, and know others who do.
In the past it was found to be really dusty, however now that's not the always the case.
Also, it wasn't always labelled well that it had dyes or calcium, with new regulations it is.

I have 3 hamsters, roborovski, hybrid dwarf and syrian.
All of them use this sand, with happy and healthy coats.
I check each bag, as occasional batches can be dusty, most of the time its great.
Brought play sand in the past and was coarse and dusty. Also, a time consuming to treat if you don't have the space. And increased my electric bill with the oven baking.
