Default New Cages

In North America Petsmart has just released a new line of Hamster cages that are targeted directly at children with no thought given to the little animal that will actually have to live in it. The cages they replaced were not good - these are even worse. The California Hamster Association and the Ontario Hamster Club have teamed up and have a petition going to try to bring an end to Petsmarts practices .. enclosed is a link to a webpage explaining the situation in more detail.

PS: Don't look up the new cage line - it will only upset you.

Ah I have to say it totally upset me when I saw them, it's such a shame that companies can't seem to incorporate both kids appeal and pet comfort.

Thank you for posting, I signed the petition.

Thank you so much for posting this! I was going to but have been very busy with schoolwork. Ive already signed. You can know go on Petsmarts website and write a review for the cages, please do. We need to help this stop if you just take a few minutes out of your day.
