Photography
For my big birthday recently I was given an ipad. Long story but it got exchanged for a camera, with the approval of my family for the change in choice of gift! I'm very pleased as have wanted an interchangeable lens camera for some time. Haven't had much chance to experiment but taken a few. I still have my compact camera, which is great, but this is a bit more versatile and has a viewfinder - and having a viewfinder means I can get back my photographic muscle memory. Anyway - doesn't mean I'll take better photos ha ha - but I can enjoy experimenting.
Here are a few taken recently

Re: Photography
These are absolutely stunning photographs! I love how the image is so crisp and detailed in the foreground and it blurs in the background - great technique to make the eye focus where you want it to. I especially love the 1st and the last one, although I must say I also am a huge fan of R2-D2, lol.

Re: Photography
Thank you If I get time! I did one of Newt last night which is on his thread, but moving hamsters in low light are still a challenge lol. The noise of the shutter made him jump every time. And he doesn't like the flash so I don't use it.

Re: Photography
Hams in low light are a bit of a challenge & I find the shutter on my camera noisy too but they seem to get used to it & I'm sure you'll soon have some more great photos of your boys.

Re: Photography
It's a great camera and you have taken a variety of interesting first shots Serendipity. I also like the one of the little building in that setting. It's nicely composed.

Re: Photography
Great pictures, my favourite is R2-D2 Although the subbuteo picture is quite perfect considering the World Cup is fast approaching
