zooplus haul (no pictures)
hey all,
so today this morning i woke up about 9am to a pleasant suprise; toffee was running around to his hearts content and he finally had the confidence to climb on my hand. this may not sounds like a big deal, but it makes me feel realy happy knowing hes this comfortable. so while i was out and about i thought the little guy deserved a special treat.
ive been wanting to get a phew things from zooplus but lately ive just not had a spare penny , so obviously i jumped at the opportunity as soon as i could it is wwwwaaayyyy cheaper than pets @ home. one thing led to another and I ended up spending 32quid.
the first thing I knew i needed to get was a new wheel, he currently has a medium flying sauser but recently I have noticed hid back is starting to curve and he is growing sooooo fast . I chose to go with the trixie large wheel as ive heard great reviews.
the next item is a hanging bridge, this is gonna be great to give him some more space to explore
the next item is the medium bendy bridge. ya can nevel have too many of these
then i got a grass hammock, he will be able to use this as either a new platform or a chew item
then i got him the 30L hugro hemp bedding. ive never tried this stuff but it sound like it will do great.
finaly i got him the savic play tunnel
im realy happy with what I got , i would love to hear your faves from zooplus are, please comment below

Hey Brian,
Sounds like a good zooplus selection you've got yourself.
I've had a few items in my shopping basket for a couple of days, including the large Trixie wooden wheel, and finally went to finalise the order last night and saw the wheel is now sold out! Well done for getting in there before me
The only thing I would say is I have heard concerns about the metal chains used in the hanging bridge before. This is because there is a small chance your ham could get their feet caught in them.

It does sound like a good haul but as BethandLil said those hanging bridges can be a problem, it's best to avoid anything with chains or open rung ladders or anything similar that can lead to falls, trapped paws or other possible injuries.

he currently has little swings which have the metal chains.and they are on the wooden level that comes with the alexander wheel, ive put it so that the level isnt too high, but high enough that if he falls on them he wont hurt himself. ive been health checking toffee almost everyday since i put these in, so far it looks like he doesnt even go near them and hes not got a single problem. nevertheless thankyou for letting me know about this. more than likely ile just put the hanging bridge away for the time bieng.

hes such a spoiled hammy lol, and the same about the wooden wheel happened to me, the large wooden one looks ace. it would look great in a natural or wooden themed cage setup. ive been wanting to get this one for ages so i put it in my basket and the next thing i know its saying its not available. so the one that ive seen loads of great reviews is the plastic trixie 12 inch wheel, i thought since he desperately needs a new wheel i snached it up . i think im still gonna get him the wooden one though haha. and thankyou for the help about the hanging bridge.

Haha how funny that we both got caught out!
I currently have the plastic Trixie 12" but it is old and rickety so needs replacing, but it's a solid choice

Re: zooplus haul (no pictures)
My zooplus order arrived today. I seem to have under estimated how large the items are! I knew I wanted to get a big wheel and I’ve certainly managed that with an 11inch wooden wheel. The seesaw is HUGE so cant fit in at the moment. I got a hanster hiseout Hut made from wood, a hanging bridge, a climbing frame, a wooden ball with a bell. I’m pleased and my hanster seems happy
