I'd avoid it.Dwarf hamsters are especially at risk when in hamster balls, including things like having toes ripped off from getting them stuck in the ventilation holes. In some places it's even considered cruelty to use balls

Use a large plastic bin or something else safe,as this would actually allow enrichment and doesn't entirely block the senses(balls block all senses and provide little to no enrichment).

I used to think that all hamsters needed exercise balls until one of my previous Chinese got her foot caught in a ventilation slit. Thankfully she wasn't hurt but she was a little bit shaken up by the experience and I don't use exercise balls for the dwarf species at all.

As Amity says, a large plastic bin makes a great playpen that is safe and allows them to experience more of the world around them. I usually have different toys for my playbins that I don't use in the cages so that they do have some variety and I'll often hide small treats such as seeds around the bins for them to hunt out.

you probably shouldnt get one, as they can stress hamsters out quite alot. this is because they dont have very good eyesight, but good smell touch and hearing.
