This thread is very interesting. It's good to see this kind of things for hamsters, but to me is definitely a nay.

I've never been subscribed to a subscription box. I know a couple of famous make up and nail polishes boxes and sometimes they are ok, but usually you end up paying a lot of money for things that you're never going to use, so yes, you save a lot of money considering the items that you're getting, but you're wasting money because you're buying things that you don't need and that you wouldn't buy by yourself.

If I add the shipping cost to the price it makes it ridiculous. With 35 euros I can set up a whole cage from scratch, well...maybe 45, because that's what I spent on my order when I had to throw away everything I had to get rid of a bug problem and buy everything brand new....so, nay nay nay.

However, If there were something like this available in Spain, I probably would like to try it.

I have never subscribed to a subscription box. I think in theory they would be a wonderful idea. However, I do not believe that it would be a good fit for me since I would definitely need to read all of the ingredients listed in the packaging for all of the foods/treats. I am also concerned about the paints used in some products as some of them are dangerous to hamsters. Unfortunately, today's manufacturers don't always take the necessary and ethical route in thoroughly doing the research that we as consumers require in order to ensure the best for our furry family. I also need to thoroughly inspect any and all products for defects because I do not want anything that can potentially harm my sweetie. It is such a sad thing, but these facts make it not suitable for me to invest money in Subscription Boxes. I do love the idea of a wonderful surprise and gift box for hamsters since many people tend to not include hamster owners as their primary target in such business ventures. Maybe one day manufacturers will take more pride in the products they create so I will be able to enjoy a Subscription Box with total peace of mind.

I do think if you get the Woodlands Willow Twist Stick it would be wonderful for guinea pigs though, or feed the drops one per guinea pig as an extremely rare treat. The drops and banana chips (with caution due to elevated sugar content) would be fine for hamsters though, but the sticks are honestly far too questionable to take a risk on.
Thank you for your concern Amity, but I am well-educated with what my pets can and can't eat. I did originally say some of the treats, implying I wouldn't be feeding all of them to my piggies. Jasper would have the things that Oreo or Pemba cannot eat. I rarely buy commercial treats other than forage anymore, except the Oxbow Simple Rewards, so I figured it would make a nice treat for the guinea pigs.
