Titania!!!!
Well, this wasn't supposed to happen.
I was at the pet store to buy XS Whimzees for a new hamster was planning on getting sometime next month, but they had recently ran out. So, obviously, I "accidentally" wandered into the hamster sections of the store to buy some other chews, probably wood. And, while I was there, a big gigantic sign advertising a $3 off deal on winter whites and robos caught my eye. I only wanted to "see" the hamsters, so I called over a worker who pulled out an adorable winter white. She mentioned that the one she was holding bit, but that there was another hamster in the back room that was better behaved and had been there for 3 months.
So, naturally I asked here to show me the other one. And she pulled the cutest hamster I had ever seen. It licked my hand, and stared at me with a slightly disgusted look ("ew, mushrooms") and of course I just needed to take it home.
I named her Titania (MSND, anyone?) because of how enchanting she was, (and yes, prob would've named her Oberon if it turned out to be a boy XD) and brought her home.
Will post pics soon, but she's currently taking a nap under her sand bath.

Argh!
I was feeding her and she climbed right on top of my hand, looking at me expectantly. So I lifted her upend she didn't jump off! Looks like she's already hand-tamed, weird...
I was hunting all around for my iPad to take a pic, but by then she had lost interest in my little hand so I put her back.

Congrats! She does sound lovely & must be happy to have a nice home after all that time in the store
Look forward to seeing her.
Pet stores don't sell WW btw, she will be a Russian hybrid so take care to feed her a good dwarf specific, sugar free diet.

What a lovely name, well done for giving her a home after being in the pet shop for so long It's hard to "accidentally" look at hamsters and not leave with one! Have done it myself

Sorry it's blurry, she was trying to escape.
(I know that she's probably a hybrid. Was thinking about buying from the breeder but there aren't any near Chicago...and then I stumbled upon Titania!)
