Default Britain's Worst Pet

So I was watching TV last night - as you do, and there was a programme on called "Britain's Worst Pet" and on it was a dog called Goldie who hated black dogs and would go absolutely bonkers if he saw one.

Shame really that his owners other dog was...a black Labrador

Goldie had came to them after the husband's boss had died, no one else could look after Goldie. However he was now terrorising the black lab Toby they had before Goldie came along.

It was just such a shame on the couple, they had to keep the dogs completely separate, one dog would be upstairs with the woman and the other dog would be downstairs with the man and they'd rotate it also if they went anywhere they had to take separate cars.

There were other animals on it - a ferret that would go for it's owner as soon as the door to it's pen was opened.

An iguana that couldn't be tamed.

A cat that hated it's owner with a passion

Just wondered if anyone else caught the show and what they thought of it, also does anyone know of any stories of pets behaving badly???

I remember one shocking 999 story they had about a giant rabbit (I wasn't paying too much attention I just remember the jist - it was a huge rabbit anyway) The male rabbit could be a bit nasty and one day when it was out and bouncing around the garden it didn't want to go back to its cage, so it attacked the woman, it literally went for her throat, she blocked it with her wrist, and it bit badly into it. She got the rabbit off (so it got what it wanted - more garden time) and tried to call 999. Her wrist was so bad she couldn't move her fingers properly etc. and was loosing a lot of blood. At this point she was also feeling rather faint. She manages to dial and gets through to the ambulance service. They ask her what type of injury it is. She said animal bite, they asked what type of animal, she said large rabbit, they hung up, they thought it was a prank. In the end before passing out she managed to get an ambulance by saying it was a dog bite.

The moral was that people caused this problem, those who misuse the emergency services. Though personally I took it to be 'the bigger the rabbit the more it gets to decide what it wants to do"

Not the nicest misbehaving pet story but the only one that lept into my mind

Poor woman!

I saw on some programme (can't remember, it was a long time ago) that this woman was in a small corner shop. The owners had a cat and the cat had escaped from the flat upstairs and come down to the shop. It was sitting on the middle shelf and this woman walked past it. As she walked past the cat leapt out from the shelf and viciously attacked her. It scratched her whole head and I think it scrathed her eye, Not sure if she ended up blind in one eye or not.

As a child I was scratched by our family cat when I woke him up I have a scar to remind me of the valuable lesson I learnt only 1mm below my eye. If it were any higher...

Ouch! But this was really bad. I remember seeing a picture. The woman was covered in scratches and the cat pulled out huge chunks of her hair as well.
