I use to do this with our dog and she would apparently sit there with her eyes up and would lick the phone. It might sound a bit mad for a hamster, I would do it.

Just wanted to say that the tissue tip worked and thank you for the advice ! When we came back from holiday our little buddy remembered us and was more excitable than normal to see us especially at playtime. My mum took quite a shine to him too and by end of week little one was happy to be stroked by her.

Aww quicksilver, that's so lovely! Not at all surprised your mum took a shine to him. The tissue trick is a great thing to do. I've had great results with mine.

Thanks Thin Lizzy and Cinnamon Bear! It's good to back! Ralph got some christmas tubes, a little wooden tree to chew on and snowflake stickers for his home yesterday as Santa Paws informed me he's been good ! I can't quite believe it's nearly Dec. Time flies fast when your having fun! X

I FaceTime my guinea pig when I'm on holiday lol . He actually recognises me too lol! I would do that with Jasper, but his timetable often clashes .
