Ralph - our little buddy
Our little buddy Ralph is one year old this month. It's been an amazing year and experience being first time hamster owners. I've fallen in love with hamsters. It was a great feeling once we gained Ralph's trust and vice versa, I didn't realise hamsters could be so cuddly!
Ralph is fascinating to watch, so funny at times , gentle as well as full of energy and his eyes melt my heart.
He's got a 'happy birthday' banner by his cage to celebrate and a couple of new toys.
Long live hamsters!

Aww what a lovely post for Ralph! Happy 1st Birthday to him when it comes, he's so going to be spoiled!

Thank you for the birthday wishes! I don't know Ralph's exact birthday apart from its in August. I'm excited for him as he has new wooden bendy bridges and wooden shelves, boredom breaker treat dispenser and a nibble graze pot!
Ralph has just finished a four week treatment for mites and his bald patch of fur has grown back thankfully and the scratching has stopped. Some of his wooden toys had to be chucked out-hence a few were replaced 
I love changing his toys around in his cage and see him explore the new set up. He loves his bendy bridges - I think he will be a very happy ham when they return back this weekend !
