Re: New Fridge
Good luck with the new fridge. We had our kitchen re-done a few months back; my mum was so excited to have all new appliances lol

Re: New Fridge
The Fridge is good! It works! There is an eerie blue-ish light inside when you open the door as if someone with a lightsaber is at the back of the fridge. I can fit about the same in as before but I can see it all better I'd have preferred a tall fridge freezer but don't have to bend quite so far with this one as there's no ice box inside. Of course once I started I ended up cleaning all sorts and having a bit of a spring clean - which usually never quite gets finished.

Re: New Fridge
The blue light sounds awesome, you could totally use that for a Halloween thing when it comes to October! I know the feelings about Spring Cleans!

Re: New Fridge
Oh my what a refreshing thread!
I too love getting new things. Actually, I'm looking into buying a bigger fridge at the moment.
I got excited buying a new toaster a couple of months ago! Of course I ended up buying the matching kettle even though I didn't need it but, I've got my old one as a spare.
Glad your new fridge is working good! There use to be a time when you left the new fridge for an hour before plugging it in.

Re: New Fridge
It is quite strange how you get used to things! I keep expecting something to collapse every time I open the door lol! So we are still opening the door really carefully, even though there is no need

Re: New Fridge
The person I am living with got a new vacuum cleaner today! It's not quite as exciting as a new fridge but almost! The old vacuum cleaner blew up!!

Re: New Fridge
Blowing up sounds a bit dangerous lol. I got a Henry vacuum cleaner years ago after using one at work and it's the best one I've ever had There are some amazingly hi-tech looking vacuum cleaners around these days. I'm enjoying the new fridge - a bit! As much as a fridge can give you daily pleasure lol.

Re: New Fridge
My iron blew up years ago while using it and I dropped it on the floor which left a big iron print on my carpet. I think that's why I don't enjoy it lol!
If I decide on a bigger fridge, I'm going to have to remove a worktop which I can do myself.

Re: New Fridge
I love a Henry! I'm longing for a new vacuum cleaner, we got ours for free from a neighbour after our old one died and she mentioned she was getting rid of hers. Very nice of her but it's the heaviest thing in the world and it doesn't have attachments or the possibility of attachments which means I have to occasionally borrow my in laws vacuum to hoover behind things and in corners
This is the beast in question:

Re: New Fridge
Wow! Now that looks like a mean machine - I guess it does wet and dry as well maybe. I always preferred upright hoovers until I used the Henry and find it light and easy and it sucks up everything really well I gave up on upright hoovers after they kept packing up just outside the year's guarantee - I have long hair and it would get tangled round the roller causing the motor to burn out after a year. One time we took out an extended 3 year warranty. Sure enough it burned out just after a year, but when we tried to claim there was a clause saying damage by human hair was excepted! So gave up on them. Could have got my hair cut I suppose, but I like the Henry anyway. They have good big hepa bags as well.
