RIP Christina Grimmie

Yesterday, at a performance in Orlando, the young "The Voice" singer Christina Grimmie, was tragically lost to a spontaneous shooting.

She didn't deserve to go so soon, she was so young and so sweet and had such a big heart. This shows how unbelievably heartless some members of the human race can be.

She was hospitalised immediately after the shooting however unfortunately didn't survive the night and passed away due to her severe injuries.

June is Gun Violence Awareness Month and I hope we can spread the message of how guns should be used.

That is terrible - so very sad. They really should ban guns in the US.

I guess it wouldn't stop knife attacks though and you can get those in London. Very sad.

Banning Guns will not stop anything except the hunters and the Home owner who wants a gun for protection. If guns are Ban only the ones who intend to do harm will have them smuggled in from Countries that have no ban or they will steal them from other sources. I my self don't use a gun nor does my Husband but Banning guns will only hurt the ones who don't have them right now sad to say. Evil people will do their evil works no matter what is legal or not legal.

Yes good point Nancy - evil people will find a way. It always seems strange in the Uk to think of guns being legal though. Farmers and Hunters have a licence but that's about it. Although I think anyone can own an air rifle. DP has one for shooting pigeons. But knife attacks can be pretty nasty too.

I know! I LOVED Christina Grimmie! I remember she was one of my most favorite contestants on the Voice. She died way too young...

She was a contestant on the US 'The Voice' and she wrote songs too I think.

"The Voice" is slightly similar to the X Factor I think - whoever wins I guess gets a record deal
