Default Move rooms?

I think I am coming down with something. Since yesterday I have had a sore throat, and today I have been feeling very blergh with the sore throat... No idea how to explain that! I actually had to get another relative to look after my neice until tomorrow as this afternoon I just felt too rubbish! (My brother and his partner are away).
Anyway, what I'm wondering is whether I'd be better being in a separate room from Sweep? I can't move him as his cage is too big and heavy, and also as no one sleeps in the other rooms they are not heated so are freezing in there. So if anyone has to move it will have to be me, which I don't mind doing, but do I need to, or will it be ok?

It does sound like the cold, there's been a lot of it about. Whenever I'm coming down with the cold it always starts with a yucky sore throat.
When I last had it, I had Twinkle who lived in the living room, I made sure that when I was in it that I covered my nose and mouth with a scarf and used plenty antibacterial wipes. I always wore rubber gloves when feeding Twinkle but avoided contact for 5 days, so she got no cage timeout which she didn't like.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. You're probably ok in the same room unless you start sneezing and streaming, but as Thin Lizzy says, use anti bacterial soap or wipes before putting food or water out and maybe avoid handling Sweep until you're feeling better, just to be on the safe side. I think if I was sneezing or streaming I'd be tempted to sleep in another room for a while.
