Food Haul!

I've been on a shopping spree recently and I've now got pet food everywhere!

Last week my ratrations order arrived - all 24kg of it

I then realised I only had one 15kg bag of my base mix left so I'll be ordering more of that next week. As well as my usual seeds, I bought some more dried veg to give the hams a little extra boost and thought I'd try out one of the mum and baby mash mixes. I haven't yet tried it out but I'm interested to see what my hams think.

Today I had fun in my local natural pet food shop and bought a whole pile of frozen food for my dog. Thankfully it just fitted in his two freezer drawers. I also picked up a few bits for the hams including some better quality kibble for their mix and some nicer wet trays for the pups.

There's not a lot of people food in, but the beasties won't be going hungry

I guess it's boiled eggs and soldiers for tea for me while the hams and dog dine in style!

Humans can totally eat hamster food and dog food, right?

Well, sometimes when I go to petshops the people at the tills are eating dog biscuits ...!

WOW! That's one big food haul! I personally do love the Gerber Puffs I give the ratties and can't stop myself from taking one or two.

I actually used to know someone with a dog who would snack on the dry dog food... He kept trying to convince me to try it and that it was tasty!

Though my sister ate cat food once! (She was quite small!) Her name starts with Kat, therefore she thought it was for her - for some unknown reason!
