That's the thing - I had no idea how much hamster information was out there!

It's so interesting to see where everyone is posting from - it's a worldwide community!

My parents were never really fans of the wee ones so while I had a fish tank, not much in terms of love you get from those fishies.

This has certainly been a very interesting adventure so far!

I'm not too sure but here in the UK, small animals sell really well in pet shops. As for cats and dogs, well our chain pet store, Pet at Home, doesn't sell them and neither do most pet shops. Most people buy from breeders (some are dodgy but most are fine) or rescue.
