Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
I desperately want a long-haired chihuahua, I've always loved them and cuddling a puppy one at Crufts a couple of weeks ago 100% sold me on them. Would also like some Striped Mice, Siamese or Bengal Cat, Leopard Gecko, Milk Snake, Guinea Pigs and obviously more hamsters :3

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
My list is endless!
I'm desperate to have rabbits, as soon as I have a house with a garden or spare rooms I'm rescuing rabbits. I volunteer at a rabbit rescue and I just love all of them, there are so many that have special needs too and will likely never be adopted so I'd take them on. There is a gorgeous girl who has a permanent head tilt, her head is completely over on its side but it doesn't affect her at all. She is such a happy little thing - I'd take her and her husbun in a heartbeat.
And of course cats and dogs - at the moment we live in a flat so I think when Nelly passes I'll adopt a cat that needs to live indoors. I often see deaf or FIV cats in rescues and I would happily take on one of those. Dog will have to wait until we have space and money/the ability to come back in the day to let it out unfortunately.
I love chinchillas but I don't like how much mess they make!
I really want a robo but I don't know if I can deal with the heartbreak you get from hamsters again...they just aren't here for long enough.
I also really want chickens and ducks. I had some when I lived at home with my mum - when I have a house with a garden I'd get some ex-battery chickens. They are so much fun to watch and really lovely to see them develop from these bald scared little creatures into beautiful well loved chickens.
In a dream world...horses, goats, alpacas are venturing into that list too but I just can't imagine ever having the time to be able to look after all these animals

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
I have always wanted to have pets rat and mice, as I think they are adorbable but I can't have them at the moment.
I also would like a dog, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier or a Pit Bull, as the media gives them a bad image and these dogs are really friendly dogs and are gentle and make good dogs for children. Also shelters get overloaded with these dogs through no fault of their own, they normally have to make way for other breeds who have better media.
I also would love some goats, ever since I was little I have always wanted pet goats, they are just so cute.
I also would like more hamsters, but I only have room for one at the moment.

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
I'd love a couple of rabbits or guinea pigs, but I live in a flat with no garden and I just don't have the room indoors.
I'd also like a Siamese cat, but I don't agree with keeping cats solely indoors and there's too much fast traffic around here for letting one out. Also, my dog is not cat-friendly!

I would die for a horse but I do not have the space or money to keep one.

I'd love a dog... really really would love a dog! Not allowed though, dad hates them!
I also would love my own newforest pony and a group of ferrets. When I get my own house in the future, i'd love a nice large garden so I could have free range chickens too. At the moment we have 5 chickens and they are cooped up in a tiny run they have had since they were young. They look so sad Dad hasn't got round to expanding the run and our fence has lots of holes in so they could escape/get eaten/injured by my neighbours dogs!

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
I would love another cat but Gemma is happy being on her own. We looked after my friends 2 cats whilst she was moving house and Gemma didn't like sharing her space. I would also like a dog... but I work too much and Gemma wouldn't be happy with a pup either!

I would love bunnies, gerbils and an African pygmy hedgehog. Really I would like to have enough animals to call my house a zoo, good thing the other half keeps me under control hehe

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
I'd love a Guinea pig or ten ( not enough room) Some bunnies (ditto). I live in a flat with no outside space so that limits our options. But really, If i think about it, I just want a pet and I don't mind too much what it is so long as I'm doing the best by it. Hamsters fit the bill!
