Re: Anyone know about computers??
Haha no you certainly didn't cause the stressful day but I am way too scared to look into the mirror incase I have even more grey hairs than before! It's weird to think I'm only mid 20's and have some greys already but on my mom's side of the family pretty much all women have gone totally grey by the time they reach 30!!!!

HP (Hewlett Packard) and Compaq are the same company.
Windows 10 is a bit faster I think. If you're used to Windows 7, I've been told that Windows 10 is Windows 7 with eye candy and a few tablet type features, so it would be quite easy to pick up.
One last link! HP have this 15" laptop with an i5 processor and Intel HD graphics for £349. Called the HP Essential 15. And you can choose the colour. It might be similar to your current one but faster and upgraded.

Hope me putting all those computer links didn't cause your stressful day!

Re: Anyone know about computers??
Good question - there's a thread here - some people say Intel Integrated graphics are ok - some people say you need dedicated graphics. But the fast processor makes a difference too. To get an i5 processor with dedicated Nvidia graphics could be quite expensive. Although I think that John Lewis one was i5 with Nvidia graphics but that was about £100 more I think.

From the sound of it though, the Intel graphics will run it. That isn't the fastest i5 processor but it'll be faster than the i3 one.

Re: Anyone know about computers??
I did find this one that has an i5 processor and Nvidia graphics for under £400. Not purple though It sounds like the purple one would run it, but something with dedicated graphics like Nvidia would run it easier. From what people say on that forum though, Intel integrated graphics will run it but maybe not so eye poppingly smooth.
Laptops & Netbooks,*Laptops,*Dedicated,*£300 - £400,*Intel Core i5 on Laptops Direct Deals | Buy from Laptopsdirect
The difference is - integrated graphics are part of the processor and run the graphics as well. Dedicated graphics have a separate graphics card from the processor with their own bit of power - so they are more powerful for gaming.
My laptop is i3 with Nvidia graphics and runs video editing software fine. Other half's laptop is i5 with integrated graphics and the only real difference is it looks a bit less glossy really.
Sorry! I'm bombarding you with laptops. Right no more links! Unless I find something outstandingly good at an outstandingly cheap price lol.
