Dpd all the way. I love how they even give you an hour time slot of when your parcel will be delivered

In terms of zoo plus I've only used them once, ordered on the Friday and arrived the Monday. One item came damaged but it was a pretty full box and a hammer and nail later was easily fixed
You got it on the Monday?? They told me they only do 2-3 working days, not including weekends! So how do you pick the DPD? Do you pay extra for them? I don't mind psying extra for posting, but sometimes if I have ordered a lot, or very large iteme, then it's nice to take advantage of the free postage! Would it be worth emailing them to complain? Not actually very good at that though! DPD is actually great! Pets at Home use them, and they always come within the delivery slot they say, and they are very polite!

Well, have just sent them a rather long email, telling them I am not happy with the customer service I received, or the fact that no one had actually told me the parcel had been sent back due to it "being damaged in transit" until I contacted them! Surely they should have at least let me know! I have also asked them to consider allowing customers to have next day delivery, even if it is at an extra cost, as I am sure most people won't mind paying a little more to get it next day!
The Pets at Home stuff has arrived already! They sent me and email saying it would come between 9:04 and 10:04 am. It arrived at 8:45 am!!! He even apologized for being early LOL ... They use DPD too

Errrr no idea? When I went through checkout both yodel and dpd were an option at £2.99. Yodel is free if you spend £29 and dpd is free if you spend £39 I think. But they should both be an option during checkout??

And yea when delivery said 2-5 working days I wasn't expecting to be told it would be delivered on the Monday

How odd. I've pretty much always spent over the £39 but get flipping Yodel everytime!
Will have to wait back for their response now ... Probably won't get much out of them though!

seems every time i have ordered cages off zooplus then somethings always gone wrong, first one the cage went missing (forgot to choose dpd) second time cage was damaged (different cages) i think sometimes yodel say its been delivered but hasn't i have had the same thing happen for a few items sent via yodel not just from zooplus so now i always make sure i choose dpd.

where you see the postage for delivery it will show you the option for who you want to deliver it, right where the drop-down box is that says which country you are in

Ok thanks. I've never seen the option before, but that might be because it never asks me to choose the country in the drop down menu as the postage has always been free!

Wow! I knew they were unhelpful, but the reply I got was ridiculous!!

Please remember or rules regarding talk about companies in particular
'No Site or Company Bashing: Please avoid bashing other websites and particular named companies or venting about your frustrations of other websites and named companies. Any topics written that are in this nature will be locked or most likely deleted from the forum. '

Any issues or queries should be taken up with customer services and resolved in that way. This type of thread ends up turning in to a rant about bad service and is now moving on to delivery companies.
