Default Re: Is it to much to ask.....

A couple of weeks ago I saw a man turn a blind eye to his 2 dogs pooing in the grass and it really annoyed me and I found myself yelling 'Excuse Me' and handed him a plastic bag so he could clear up his dogs mess. Before I've been a bit wary of saying something but it gets very frustrating when you end up walking on the road to avoid the poo on the pavement. This street is one of the routes I use and for a couple of weeks I was crossing over to the other pavement but, this started to get covered too.
I always carry a variety if sized bags in my handbag and will be continuing to do so.
I've since seen this guy a couple of times and when he clocks me he takes a bag out of his pocket.
I love dogs, unfortunately, they can't pick up their own mess it's down to their owners.
If you can't take responsibility then don't get a dog.
The Street has cleaned up but, more people need to speak up.

I agree with you.

In my city there are fines for people that don't pick up his dog's poops. I don't know if they are actually fining people, but tbh something is working because we improved a lot in that matter, altough there are still a lot of unpicked poops anyway.

I always picked up my dog's poops when I had him, and I must be a super weirdo because I even "enjoyed" (if I can call it that way) to pick up his poops on winter because it was so cold and they were so hot. They smelled terrible, yeah, but you have to think positive, haven't you??

I agree too, it's horrible when you have to spend more time looking at the ground than anything round about you when you're out and about. It's a health hazard as well for kids out playing. You're quite right to speak up Lizzy. And lol Hamsterita, I like your positive thinking
