LOL! I don't even own a dog but I often find pockets with doggies bags in that I've forgotten about from my walks with my "part-time dog" And yes, I'm always praising her for everything and then feel embarrassed. She's a very smart dog and I have to wonder what she's thinking, Probably, "Go away will you? I need some privacy here!"

As for people not picking up after their dogs, GRRRR. I have offered people bags that appear to have "forgotten" one and the range of excuses I get staggers me. What really gets me though are the people who pick up their dog's poop...and then leave the bag on the ground! Especially when it's on the beach. Do they not realize that the tide is going to carry that bag out to sea? Would have been better to not pick it up at all.

That really annoys me because the poo doesn't go away as quickly then and the plastic is really dangerous for wildlife

Here, I have and extra bag as I too have a dog and know how we sometimes forget to bring a bag to follow the laws. Would you like me to hold your dog while you clean up?"

Not many would be able to refuse the bag and not pick up after their dog and in this mans case would most likely avoid your area if he did choose to refuse to stoop and scoop. Being and older person it also makes me wonder if it pains him to bend to pick up a poop pile.

However now all you can do is report him to the proper authorities to prevent more dirty walk ways, or just except he will continue to do what he is doing.
Do you know what? I'm going to put some bags in my pocket and bag and next time I see him, I'm going too hand them to him.
I don't have a dog but, I know if I did I would clean up after him/her.

She looks at me like "I JUST left that there!"
Then she does the kicking the grass thing-- a half-a____ed attempt to bury it I guess, but, she only has one front leg so she ends up kinda pivoting around on the one front leg as she kicks her back legs. . . .heehee it's cute.

Aww your 3 legged doggie is a gem!
About owners leaving the bag of poo on the ground, there should be more bins provided.
They've done the worst bit, picking the bag of the ground is the easiest part.

There are lots of bins, it's an off-leash dog park! It's just that none of the bins can be down on the beach for obvious reasons. They are at the top of every set of stairs or walkway off the beach out if reach of the tide.

Over here, the bins seemed to have vanished and it's got a lot to do with the council making cut backs.
Canada's very prepared and organised.
