Default Going on holiday!

So I'm going on holiday for 11days, all the animals are being looked after by friends and family, I have almost everything ready, baby food in (2 jars) protien and money for a small amount of veg. I'm writing them a table of what to give certain hamsters and what not etc, and how often and long they need playing with. I'm putting that the groups of robos need playing with every two days but the lone hamsters every day. and all that. if theres anything else that I should add just let me know, but basically I'm making a list of times and all that.

I would take them to my friend who live in norfolk and has a rodent holiday home, but it's not up and running yet, but theres people in my house 24/ 7 so it shouldn't be too bad.

the thing is, I know the hamsters are going to be ok and all the other pets, but I'm going to be animal and pet free for 11days, I'm not too sure if I can cope. also this is the longest I have ever been away for and I'm only going with one friend.

ok so it's not anywhere fancy as well, it's glastonbury. does anyone have anyidea that I can do there? I've been there once for a day, veggie food all over the place, clothes, and the tour but thats all I know.

anyway I'm just going on a bit,

I'm in the same situation as me and my flat mate are going to the Alps for a fortnight. Luckily we have alot of neighbors who are keen to try out owning a hamster! The rabbits and syrian are going to my mum and we have 5 more cages... and 5 neighbord which is handy!

We're a bit funny as we also have a young litter of robos which we weren't expecting :s not sure what to do about that yet!

I'm really worried about being away from all the pets for so long as well :s

Katzilla hope you have a lovely time away! I wish I was going to some where like that, but maybe in another few years time.

I've packed and leaving 3am on saturday, after a party which isn't too smart but it was kind of a surprise party for me so I have to turn up.

though is a suitcase meant to feel really heavy? I haven't packed enough clothes for the whole time as I wish to buy some. at least it has wheels!

I went a bit mad with buying things for the hamsters and rabbit to keep them busy while the other people aren't there so I hope they have a good time as well.

Lol I love it that you knew it's going to be a suprise

I have plans to realise that I haven't enough clothes so would need to go shopping to buy some more What are the French/Spanish like for hamster goods? I quite fancy bringing some stuff back for the pets if I see something nice!

Have fun, hope you get decent weather x

thanks souffle I was just so upset when I got home I felt a bit like a whimp. I'm ok now.

really there wasn't much in glastonbury, but we went to the caves in cheddar and wookey hole, and I brought lots of cheese!!! I have a tone of marmite cheese in the fridge and loving it.

I climbed up to tour which was fun and went to a cider press, and watch cheese being made.

I think I bored my friend a bit as I did read, but it was really nice to sit down and read without having to do things inbetween.

I brought lots of purple things with fairies on, for my study. it's gonne be really nice!
