Re: My pretty visitor
I've seen one of those, or one variety anyway; I think there are several. It was trapped inside a roadside diner, somewhere north of Toronto, attracted by the fluorescent lights. I was just a kid and my parents had stopped in for a coffee on the way home but I remember the patrons trying to capture it so they could put it back outside. They're so beautiful!

Re: My pretty visitor
A-HA! It's an Anania hortulata! Anania hortulata - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I couldn't get the site I posted to work properly for me, probably requires a better camera and skills than I possess, so I googled "black and white moth pacific northwest" and got it!
