How do I include a link in my post?

I know it must be something obvious I'm missing, but I can't work out how to include a link to another website/page in my posts. Please could someone tell me how to do it? I use an iPad mini if that makes any difference.

Go to the site you want to link, copy the address from the top bar then paste it in to the forum.
Not sure if that works on an i pad but that's what I do.

On an iPad you have to do it in safari as you can see the web address on that app, which you can copy and paste from there. x
